LEBIC participate in Leonardo da Vinci Programme EDUBOSTVE Print
that aims at improving vocational students training in electronics specialty, developing training program about electronics testing technology - JTAG Boundary-scan.

Reasons for implementing the project
  • Growing miniaturization level of electronic devices, increasingly makes difficult and complicate development and testing process of devices. Enterprises of electronic industry in worldwide more and more approve innovative JTAG Boundary – scan testing technology that complies with IEEE standard 1149.1. Therefore there is necessity for qualified specialists in the field of modern electronic equipment design and testing. There is lack of new updated training programs in electronics that are related to actual industry needs.

Project objectives
  • Adapting the JTAG Boundary-scan technology training program to vocational educational standards and translate it in 4 languages (English; Latvian, Estonian, Lithuanian);
  • To promote the implementation of new ICT technology in the Baltic vocational education system;
  • To develop the skills and competence of Baltic vocational education and training teachers in topical industrial technologies.

Target groups
  • Teachers of vocational education institutions
  • Students of vocational schools
